Our client is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to support several Pharmaceutical clients in San Diego, CA.

Your day to day responsibilities will include:
- Provide engineering support for foremen and technicians
- Provide onsite support and service as needed
- Prepare recommendations on control systems to meet client needs
- Direct configuration, programming, testing, and troubleshooting of instruments, valves, etc.
- Lead design reviews with clients and other stakeholders
- Configure, program, test, and trouble shoot control systems and networks
- Direct specification of instruments, valves, analyzers, etc.
- Develop project related drawings and documentation (wiring diagrams, control panels, interconnect diagrams, etc.)
- Peer review design work of colleagues and junior engineers

Required Skills & Experience
- 5 years of experience with control panel design, control system design, instrumentation, and control system software development.
- Expert with Allen Bradley PLC tools
- Experience designing pharmaceutical, food & beverage, or wastewater control systems
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Control Systems Engineering PE license
- Knowledge of NFPA 70 standards
