Join us for this incredible opportunity at Hyatt Regency Dallas, which is located downtown next to the iconic Reunion Tower. The Cook I will assure the promptness of food preparation service in the restaurants and in banquets. Responsibilities include professional cooking preparation of braised food, grilling, broiling, blanching, cooking, sautéed items, and the preparation of stocks, soups, dressings, salads, and sauces are required. Additionally, the Cook I will be responsible for maintaining the sanitary practices of utensils and equipment, and sustaining a clean and safe work area. • Hotel cooking experience and/or culinary degree
• At least 2 years of experience with working in all kitchens, such as the cold kitchen, restaurants, banquets, and the butcher area preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Texas Food Handlers Certification
• Flexibility to work any days of the week, including weekends and holidays
