The Dietary Aide is responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of meals to residents in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and served in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen and dining areas
  • Assist in the receiving, storage, and inventory of food and supplies
  • Assist in the preparation of special diets as directed by the dietary manager
  • Assist in the setup and cleanup of dining areas for meals and special events
  • Assist in the training of new dietary staff members
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the dietary manager

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
