In partnership with the Clinical Programs & Advocacy team and leadership, this position in GHW is responsible for intake of calls and electronic communications from employees needing assistance related to the array of Global Health & Wellbeing ( GHW) programs with primary focus on supporting the nurse line and clinical advocacy team members.

  • Manage all calls and electronic communications and processes in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Receive calls and electronic communications for medical services, screening and test results inclusive of the Clinical Centers of Excellence programs, nurse line, and OSHA mandated programs.
  • Provide a broad range of clinical and non-clinical support to front line employees and managers.
  • Communicate in a professional tone and with care, empathy and respect for all callers and team members.
  • Seek and transfer necessary calls to external medical expertise to provide clinical support to employees and customers.
  • Responsible for supporting the management in an array of administrative task to support the work of the department (e.g., data entry and mining, generating reports, updating written and electronic content and procedures, scheduling).
  • Support the Global Health & Wellbeing team in creating an environment that improves employee health, wellness, safety and wellbeing.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • Experience or working knowledge in the ambulatory care setting or medical field.
  • Highly motivated, energetic person who can multi-task among several or many issues.
  • Essential to the position is accurate, timely, and effective communication skills and service delivery in a fast-paced clinical and commercial aviation corporate environment.
  • Must possess continuous quality improvement orientation, excellent problem solving, strong analytical, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have the ability to plan, organize, work independently and manage multiple tasks and shift priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.


What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

  • Experience or working knowledge of medical telephonic intake and telephone systems.
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience or working knowledge of a telehealth environment and ambulatory care or patient services environment.
