Position Summary:

Works as a member of the interdisciplinary team for nursing services rendering professional supervised care to residents. Responsible for developing, assessing, and implementing restorative care nursing programs to restore or maintain the functional skills of the residents. Will coordinate delivery of restorative nursing care and provide direction and supervision to Restorative CNA. Provides and acts as a liaison between the Restorative Aides, Rehab Services and nursing. Will oversee employee health including: follow up on staff illness, ensuring compliance with required reporting to corporate, local and other agencies, planning and coordination of staff vaccination clinics, providing assistance with staff education and competency assessments related to infection preventionist (IP) and functions as a backup IP as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN licensure from the State of Michigan

• Prefer prior experience in geriatric care and restorative/rehab nursing care.

• Prefer background experience in supervision, nursing administration, restorative services, etc.
