KPMG is currently seeking a Corporate Tax Senior Manager - Korean Practice to join our Business Tax Services practice.

KPMG is currently seeking a Corporate Tax Senior Manager - Korean Practice to join our Business Tax Services practice.
Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on a full spectrum of corporate tax services including planning, research, compliance, provision work, mergers, and acquisitions activities, and assist with new business development related to these tax services
- Recognize, research, and recommend resolutions for moderate to complex tax issues
- Carry out research and analyze tax consequences to determine appropriate tax treatment of domestic and international taxation specifically in consolidated tax returns and reorganization
- Conduct tax due diligence and prepare reports
- Work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team that focuses on helping to provide industry knowledge and experience
- Develop, motivate, and train staff-level team members
Qualifications:
- Minimum eight years of recent public accounting and/or corporate tax experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; licensed CPA, JD/LLM or EA, in addition to others on KPMG's approved credential listing; any individual who does not possess at least one of the approved designations/credentials when their employment commences, has one year from their date of hire to obtain at least one of the approved designations/credentials; should you like to see the complete list of currently approved designations/credentials for the hiring practice/service line, your recruiter can provide you with that list
- Knowledge of a broad range of corporate tax matters, including provision and advisory experience, with a working knowledge of the application of ASC 740
- Excellent research and writing skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information
- Able to handle multiple engagements and client service teams
- Fluent in both English and Korean
