Job Summary:
Troubleshoots, repairs, installs and performs preventive maintenance on utilities, electrical and mechanical equipment, and other building components throughout the facility. Performs various assorted functions generally associated with maintenance operations.

At least four years experience in one or more of the following trades: heating, air conditioning, electrical installation and maintenance, hospital maintenance, electronics, bio-medical repair, refrigeration, plumbing and heating, or commercial construction. Preventive maintenance experience useful and preferable. Job requires good verbal skills and basic familiarity with Microsoft computer software.

Performs various assorted functions generally associated with maintenance operations. May be required to mow, rake, trim shrubbery, or other groundskeeping functions. Responds to and assists in security events as per policy. Frequent contact with visitors, patients and other employees, which require average tact and poise. Job requires the ability to work without direct supervision and employee must have the ability to initiate appropriate repair functions. Accuracy in actual work performed and documentation of maintenance functions is necessary along with considerable initiative and judgment.
