Primary Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for helping to monitor the company's income and expenditures by ensuring the accuracy of work orders.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

• Monitoring and tracing job cost rates from actual to estimate back to underlying activities

• Completing financial closing of work orders, verifying all jobs are properly opened and closed by appropriate personnel

• Confirming and posting labor daily.

• Rolling BOM's daily for new items and changes as necessary

• Reviewing automatic entries in M2K verifying entries are being posted correctly prior to month end close.

• Investigating cycle count variances and helping resolve issues

• Reviewing accounting standards and actual cost inaccuracies

• Prepare and reconcile commissions and rebate journal entries and analysis

• Review AP invoices for approvals and correct account/job coding

• Create and manage special work orders

• Scan daily check deposits to bank

• Balance and record all credit card entries

• Creating variance reports for actual vs. estimated labor and material

• Provide information for monthly budget meetings.

• Additional items as assigned by Division Controller

PRINCIPAL CONTACTS INSIDE/OUTSIDE THE COMPANY

This position will communicate with Project Managers, Engineering, Plant Management leaders, other accountants, Controller, CFO and other Armor personnel.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required

• 3 years of experience in accounting is required

• Experience with large databases is required
