Our client, a provider of products to the oil and gas industry is seeking a Cost Accountant to join their team on a full-time perm basis. The Cost Accountant will develop, manage, implement, and maintain production standards, policies, and procedures.

Job Title: Cost Accountant

Location: Fort Worth TX

Pay Range: $50,000 to $70,000 annually depending upon experience

What's the Job?

• Provides expert administrative support to the production team.
• Streamlines and improves efficiency of processes and procedures.
• Collaborates with Project Managers Production Team Leaders, and Supply Chain.
• Oversees the costs of materials and other goods, services, and activities.
• Oversees Raw Material, Finished Goods, and Fixed Assets Inventory counts.
• Unifies processes and procedures across all ledgers.
• Tracks production supply spending and ensures timely closing of end of month for production.
• Assure compliance of daily activities with effective measurements in place including performance of AP resources.

What's Needed?

• A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and/or relevant experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a production environment.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Self-motivation and strong initiative with the ability to work independently, Strong communication and organization skills.
