A client of Insight Global's is actively looking for a Senior Cost Accountant to join their Accounting Department out of their Houston, TX location. This individual will work a hybrid schedule, join a team of 8, and report directly to their Multi-plant Controller. A successful candidate will understand all aspects of cost accounting as it pertains to inventory control, standard cost, variable cost, fixed cost, etc. A successful candidate will be very analytical with a diversified Accounting/Finance background and have a go-getter mentality with the ability to effectively manage others in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or related
- 5+ years in cost accounting (standard costing, activity-based costing, lean accounting, and marginal costing, etc.)
- 5 years of accounting experience within a manufacturing setting

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Strong Experience with MS Dynamics and/or SAP
- Any Accounting Certifications: CPA, CMA, CFA, etc. and/or MBA in Accounting
- 5+ years in Standard Costing
