Under the direct supervision of the Principal of Education, the Office Technician-Typing serves as a member of the education team. The Office Technician (OT) will process procurement documents for California School Blind (CSB), submit/process/complete maintenance work orders via Facilities Operations Tracking (FOX) for CSB. The incumbent maintains CSB student cumulative records, collects and distributes report cards, processes records requests and checks out keys. The OT (T) exercises a high degree of good judgment and independence, accepts responsibility for work accuracy, follows both oral and written instruction, uses standard office equipment in the performance of duties, and reads and writes at a level required for successful job performance. Serves as administrative support to the Principal of Education including driving a state vehicle. Demonstrates skills in Microsoft Word and basic Excel. Any other duties as assigned.
