Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for seasonal Cleaners to join our team at Niagara Falls State Park in Niagara Falls, New York. As a Cleaner, you will be key member of the housekeeping team helping to create great guest experience by keeping the property clean and sanitized.

$17.00 - $17.00 / hour

Responsibilities

• Clean public areas, rooms, and restrooms according to department procedures and replenish supplies, maintaining sanitation guidelines
• Pressure wash concrete surfaces to remove dirt and chewing gum, etc.
• Stock closets and replenish paper products in the restrooms
• Conduct walk-around of assigned areas to assure that the facility meets standards
• Report maintenance repair problems to Supervisor
• Follow safety and environmental business practices and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• 6 months' experience in custodial and related services preferred
• Must be able to read, comprehend, and follow written instructions
• Ability to work quickly under pressure
• Ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations
• No high school diploma or GED required

Physical Requirements

• This position requires the ability to lift up to 50+ pounds and reach above head level
• May be required to work twelve to fifty feet (or more) above the ground on ladders or high lift/scissor lifts
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work inside and outside with exposure to heat, dirt, noise, fumes, wetness, paint and solvents
