Shift : Days. Shared call requirement

The role you'll contribute:

Assists licensed anesthesia providers with patient care and anesthesia equipment maintenance. Works in cooperation with the anesthesia and surgical team in assisting with safe and effective patient care in the surgical CVOR setting. Demonstrates competency in all CVOR procedures within Scope of Practice as appropriate to the ages of the patients served: geriatric, adult, adolescent and pediatric. Performs multiple departmental assigned tasks, but not limited to, assisting with invasive line placement, transportation of patients, room readiness, specimen transportation and the turnover process between surgical procedures. Also involves the environmental cleaning of the surgical suites and semi-restricted areas, replenishment of anesthesia and room supplies, set up of equipment and other assigned duties required in the CVOR department.

Qualifications
he expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

• On the job training and applicable course attendance to be completed/e provided through our anesthesia services or vendors to achieve competency in areas related to the anesthesia technical support role.
• Basic computer skills required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• One year experience as a CNA, Medical Assistant, EMT or PCT in health care setting OR previous Surgical Services experience
