Your role

We are looking for a senior-level member to join the Threat Advisory team to:
• help lead the conduct of business threat assessments, which correlates the ecosystem of a business unit's people, process, and technology to the relevant cyber threat landscape
• communicate effectively with information security officers and business unit personnel to gain a deep understanding of key technologies and processes, key personnel, and "crown jewels"
• collaborate closely with Cyber Threat Intelligence and Threat Profiling functions to help construct clear and actionable requirements/taskings, interpret and provide feedback on intelligence reports, and incorporate threat profiling into assessment activities
• help identify and create opportunities to build our internal book of business and support executive cyber simulation, technical testing and staff testing functions, as well as Cyber Intelligence Center and/or CISO activities, as requested
• lead the drafting and coordination of detailed reports of findings, analysis, and recommendations, including periodic reporting of progresses
• proactively build collaborative, constructive relationships throughout the CISO and TISO organizations, as well as within global technology and business units and participate operational briefings and presentations to technical and non-technical audience and executive management, as required

Your team

You will be a senior member of the Business Threat Advisory team. This team operates under the banner of the Cyber Intelligence Center, which is part of the bank's Cyber & Information Security Office. Your role can be based in our Nashville, TN. Raleigh, NC. or Weehawken, NJ. office, with the option to work from home for up to two days per week.

Your expertise

• ideally 5+ years of experience with increasing responsibility in areas such as cyber security threat or risk assessments, third party risk assessments, and/or open-source intelligence analysis
• direct experience with intelligence gathering, analysis, and reporting processes and previous experience in financial sector, technology sector or a related field; preferably via employment via a firm with a global footprint and experience with Open-Source Intelligence processes and related software
• experience with data visualization, link analysis, and/or mind-mapping software and familiarity or experience with technical cyber security functions, e.g. threat hunting, insider threat, access management, etc.
• knowledge and experience with the processes and software that directly support intelligence-based threat assessments
• familiarity or experience with cyber security testing, to include red teaming and/or purple teaming and current knowledge of cyber security trends, technologies, and their applicability to the financial industry
• an inquisitive mind and passion for cyber and information security that includes an interest and willingness to seek out and participate in cross-training or certification
• able to operate at an advanced level of written and spoken communication in English; write and speak effectively with impact
• strong project management and presentation skills and some knowledge of the Financial Services would be beneficial
• B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, Intelligence or an equivalent combination of professional experience and training
