Job Title: Data and Reporting Analyst
Location: Chicago, IL preferred but open to remote. If local to a client hub, hybrid work model (3 days in office/week, but flexible)

Contract Type: W2 only
Pay Rate Range: $45 - $55.00/Hour

Role Mandate:
  • The selected candidate will be supporting the analysis and reporting needs of the EMM/MM/LMM strategic project.
  • This project will support strategy development for the segments.
  • The selected candidate will have strong business acumen, report designing, and data querying/analysis and requirements gathering experience.

Role Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
  • Design and implement reporting solutions, business analysis and data analysis to meet business requirements and answer key business questions.
  • Perform data discovery to support report development and partner to implement new data sources, determine data gaps and/or answer data questions.
  • Provide value-add insights through partnering with business and credit stakeholders to understand business needs.
  • Partnering closely with Data and Analytics team and additional stakeholders to outline/identify requirements.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

Must-Have Skills:
  • 5+ yrs relevant data analysis experience
  • Strong knowledge of requirement gathering methods including interviewing, data modeling and business process modeling.
  • Demonstrated experience with report design
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, and is a quick learner
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Strong relationship-building and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Excellent critical thinking/analytical/problem solving and organizational skills; ability to analyze issues/requests and determine next steps
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • General understanding of data and how it's used to inform business decisions; data-driven decision-making
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc)
  • Advanced Business Intelligence/Report Development skills (Dataset Design, Power BI preferred)
  • Advanced Programming, Query, Modeling and Analytical Tool skills (SQL)
  • Previous banking experience preferred
