Position:Data Engineer
Location:Orlando, FL - onsite Monday-Thursday
Duration :9+ Months
Rate Range?:$60/hr-$80/hr

Position Overview:
• Leads projects working with teams of Merchandise Planners, Technical Partners and Business Leaders to guide a prioritized development schedule
• Understand business our requirements and translate them into clear and precise product specifications/features/capabilities to ensure engineering development
• Provide project guidance and accountability to a team of engineers for new and existing retail application configurations
• Design automated workflow and decision trees using tools such as VBA, Python or equivalent scripting languages
Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:
- Build new tools using SQL Server and Excel to solve user data processing needs
- Troubleshoot existing tools (SQL Server, MS Access and Excel) to solve processing problems.
- Modify existing tools (SQL Server, MS Access and Excel) to accommodate business rule changes.
- Use the VBA debugger to step through code to solve problems and understand legacy code.
- Languages/Tools: SQL Server, VBA, Excel Formulas, MS Access

Requirements:
?• 5+ years experience in retail system administration; configuration and technology implementation experience in retail applications and tools with heavy emphasis on install, quality assurance, patching and tuning
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with individuals and teams (both small and large, technical and non-technical)
• Experience with:
o Data pipeline technologies and ETL tools and languages such as SQL, SSIS, Knime, Alteryx, Tableau Prep
o Database and Workflow technologies such as Snowflake, SQL Server, MS Access
