Job Duties: Build and manage data pipelines, databases, and large-scale processing systems. Build data models, and implement and automate ETL (extract, load and transform) pipelines using SQL, and Python in our cloud-based technology stack. Leverage front end technologies such as Power BI and Tableau. Collaborate with domain experts, business leaders, IT partners, and product management teams to review product requirements and user stories, propose viable implementation options, and define specific software tasks. Ensure patterns/best prices are implemented in the areas of data engineering. Ensure code quality through code reviews, thorough QC testing (UAT, system, and unit where appropriate), and collaboration with QA. Enable the development of data solutions that address business problems and drive value for the organization, with respect to Supply Chain, Orthopedics, and internal business processes. Contribute to advancing the digital acumen of the organization.

Qualifications

Requirements: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics and Information Systems, Operations Research, or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a Senior Data Engineer-related occupation.

May telecommute from within Florida.
