Insight Global is looking for a Data Engineer to handle multiple activities in a team supporting diverse NA scientific data needs. This individual will perform data architecture, data development & design, manage data quality, reference and master data, and integrate data while ensuring effective data governance. On a day-to-day basis, you will engage in data modeling and data audit, design detailed data solutions, define rules, create hierarchies and affiliations, distribute reference and master data, as well as profile, analyze and asses data quality. You will be collaborating with Business and Data Quality teams in Paris to design data quality management procedures, clean and correct data quality defects and establish effective data governance practices.

Required Skills & Experience

Be able to translate data requirements into business processes and reverse engineer business processes into data requirements
Experience manipulating and pulling data in GCP preferred (can be AWS or Azure)
Experience scripting and coding in Python and SQL
Advanced expert database handling and experience with data manipulation tools (SQL and variants)
Proficient in MS suite applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Knowledge of scientific data
Relevant scientific industry experience
Leadership skills needed to successfully promote ideas, coordinate work activities, and plan deliverables within a project team
