Data Platform Support Engineer / Kafka Engineer :

- Support and maintain data platform, which leverages Kafka for real-time data streaming.
- Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the platform, monitoring application environments, troubleshooting issues, and performing general maintenance tasks.
- Monitor application environments to identify and resolve performance issues, errors, and anomalies
- Manage and maintain certificates for secure communication within the Data Platform
- Configure and manage firewall rules to ensure proper access control and security

Required Technical Skills and Experience :

- Experience in Kafka, including configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
- Previous experience in developing or supporting distributed event stores and/or stream-processing platforms
- Python programming for scripting and automation tasks
- Oracle, SQL ( PL/SQL )
- Familiarity with ITSM (IT Service Management) processes and change management practices
- Experience with Pyspark for distributed data processing and analysis and Humio Logscale / CrowdStrike Falcon LogScale or similar log management and analysis tools : Logstash, etc )
