Data Reporting Analyst

Insight Global is seeking a highly motivated Data Reporting Analyst to join a Systemwide Reporting (SWR) team for a critical and highly visible project. This role entails identifying metrics, sourcing data from disparate sources, and designing and visualizing these metrics for a broad spectrum of audience. The candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of data analytics principles, basic data handling skills (preferably in an AWS Cloud environment), and advanced data visualization expertise in Tableau. You will work with a cross functional team to understand and capture analytical requirements as well as identify necessary data sources, work with database owners and network administrators to connect and pull data, consolidate and leverage data for visualization. This role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, debugging, and documenting dashboards to satisfy project requirements. Additionally, you will identify tasks, report progress, and communicate any blockages in timely completing deliverables to the project team and leadership.

Required Skills & Experience
- Experience utilizing, analyzing, and reporting data from various source systems, such as Trellix, Rapid7, ServiceNow, SumTotal LMS, Jamf, etc.
- Proven experience in integrating data from multiple systems, preferably in a cyber security context.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure the seamless flow of data from various sources into centralized repositories.
- Experience in data visualization using Tableau
- Lead the end-to-end dashboard development process, from gathering requirements to delivering final products.
- Proficient in creating dashboards that are user-friendly, scalable, and meet the evolving needs of stakeholders.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite
- Experience working in AWS Cloud
- Proficient in querying data using Oracle PL/SQL, SQL
- Knowledge in database connection using APIs and familiarity in data loading skills
- Self-motivated and proactive with excellent communications, problem-solving, critical thinking, and team/collaboration skills
- Experience designing data solutions within a data warehouse or operational data store (ODS).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Well-versed with other Oracle tools like SQL Developer or Toad
