The primary goal of our DS team is to empower our cross-functional partners by delivering strategic, data-driven insights and recommendations, fostering collaborative partnerships, and enhancing decision-making processes through proactive and independent analysis.

Responsibilities:
- Provide actionable insights to drive business growth and enhance operational efficiency.
- Utilise data science expertise to design data solutions that address commerce operations and product challenges, such as supply growth, user growth, and marketplace efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to optimise overall business performance and health.
- Recommend improvements that align with business goals.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a (BS/MS/MBA/PhD) in quantitative fields such as statistics, engineering, economics, etc.
- Proficient in SQL, Python, or R, with expertise in at least one of the following areas: advanced measurement (e.g., causal inference or systems with complex trade-offs), modelling, or optimisation.
- To succeed in this role, you must be proactive, self-driven, and impact-oriented.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in data science or a bachelor's degree majoring in a quantitative field, such as statistics, is preferred.
- Experience in e-commerce or online marketplaces is strongly preferred.
