Our client, an online global ecommerce marketplace, is looking for an experienced Demand Generation Marketing Manager for a 6-month contract with the potential to turn into a permanent role. The position will lead the development and execution of innovative demand generation strategies for the sneaker vertical of their website. In this role, you will be responsible for driving traffic to their sneaker marketplace through various channels, analyzing key performance metrics, and optimizing campaigns to improve overall effectiveness. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to plan and execute both on-site and off-site marketing events. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of marketplace dynamics and a passion for sneakers. The client prefers candidates who sit in NYC, San Jose, or San Francisco but would be open to candidates sitting remotely.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute demand generation strategies for the sneaker marketplace to drive traffic and conversions.
  • Analyze buyer funnel metrics, including traffic, engagement, and conversion rates, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute marketing campaigns and events.
  • Optimize demand generation campaigns based on performance data and industry best practices.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure the successful execution of demand generation initiatives.
  • Work closely with the content and creative teams to develop compelling marketing materials.
  • Lead the development of ABM (Account-Based Marketing) strategies targeting key customer segments.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitors to stay ahead of the curve and implement innovative marketing tactics.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in demand generation, digital marketing, or related roles.
  • Passion for sneakers and a deep understanding of marketplace dynamics.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing demand generation campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Experience working in online retail or marketplace environments is highly preferred.
  • Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
