Design Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, GIS mapping, surveying, and field work related to NEC (National Electrical Code) or NESC (National Electrical Safety Code). Additionally, the candidate will use DDScad to design, calculate, and document complete building services in both 2D-CAD and 3D-BIM for our utilities projects.

Required Skills & Experience

Any technical degree
Basic knowledge of GIS mapping and surveying techniques
Willing to take green right out of college (Ivy Tech Community College Muncie)
DDScad or AutoCad
Familiarity with NEC and/or NESC codes.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Technical degree related to electrical engineering
Internship or coursework related to utilities design and engineering.
Experience with 3D-BIM modeling.
