Design and Manufacturing Process Engineer

Akkodis is recruiting for a Design and Manufacturing Process Engineer for a manufacturer in the the New Haven, IN area, near fort Wayne, IN. This is a direct hire position with a pay range of $70K-$85K.

• Design and develop new products, components, and systems using SolidWorks.
• Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet customer requirements, quality standards, and project timelines.
• Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing and production teams during design implementation.
• Ensure successful integration of designs into production processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Experience in design and process engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software, including advanced features such as surfacing and assemblies.
• Process Improvement experience
• Experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, and progress tracking.
• Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to design and manufacturing processes.
