Insight Global is looking for a Design Engineering Manager to oversee a structural detail design group. The Engineering Supervisor will oversee the engineering team responsible for holding a leadership role over junior engineers in structural design, utilizing structural software's to ensure vessel build, manage 5-15 people in detail design and communicate with functional design department, attending high level Navy meetings to speak to progress of project, and meet deadlines and work scope to ensure NAVSEA compliance.
This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The average pay for this role is $45-65hr.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of experience in detail structural design in the shipbuilding industry
Leadership experience- training junior engineers in design and checking
Ability to attend high level Naval Architecture meetings- COMMUNICATION MUST BE 10/10*
Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline
Knowledge of structural or naval build NAVSEA standards
