Kwik Trip's Network Services Department is seeking a Network Infrastructure Manager who will manage and provide leadership for the Network Infrastructure team members who are responsible for the installation and maintenance of all Kwik Trip campus networks: including office, manufacturing, and data center operations.

Network manager responsibilities:

• Lead the Network Operations teams - responsibilities include procurement, installation, disaster recovery planning, and maintenance of all Kwik Trip campus network and data center equipment and related software.

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Kwik Trip Network Infrastructure team members.

• Plan, design, and implement data connectivity for the local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and wireless LAN.

• Coordinate and implement special projects including network-related wiring plans.

• Maintain documentation including hardware/software configuration information.

• Provide after-hours escalated support in an On-Call rotation.

• Review budgets on a continual basis, identify areas of opportunity and implement necessary improvements to achieve profit expectations.

• Effectively manage, coach, and develop coworkers on the Network Infrastructure Team.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in information systems/network administration or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Proven experience with architecture and design of large-scale local area, wide area, and wireless networks.

• Strong understanding of Network Security practices and procedures.

• Strong understanding of practices and procedures involving the use of protocol analyzers and network sniffing technologies.

• Experience managing networking in a virtual server environment.

• Advanced experience with routing protocols.

• Strong understanding of LAN, WAN, and WLAN practices and procedures for identification, troubleshooting, and resolution of network issues

• Strong understanding of technologies practices and procedures for configuration and performance tuning of routing, switching, and WLAN deployments.

• Strong technical documentation skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to meet project and department deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Supervisory and leadership experience.

• Ability to work onsite and with Hybrid work from home opportunities available.

Even better if you have:

• Knowledge of Data Center and Core network technologies.

• Knowledge of access control systems and Firewalls.

• Experience with managing retail networks, mpls, or similar protocols.

• Experience working with manufacturing and automation networks.

• Experience with Packet Capture, NetFlow, and other system monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

• Experience with public cloud platform networking.

• Any networking certifications.

• Experience with structured cabling best practices and procedures.

• Experience with SD-WAN solutions, including implementation, maintenance, and best practices.

• Experience with ITIL - Incident/task/project/change.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum/Jira is a plus.

• Experience with Network Automation.

Work Schedule : Monday through Friday, daytime hours. Weekend and non-business hours work may be required as needed. On-Call escalation as needed.
