Desktop Operations Manager Location: Ybor City, FL Contract Length: 12+ Months

Job ref# 236201

Position will require leadership skills but will not have direct reports, someone with the experience and skills to own the enterprise's desktops.

Requirements:
  • Experience managing software deployments on desktops
  • Experience with migration to Windows 11
  • 3rd tier support for issues from Service Desk and Field teams
  • Desktop group policy
  • Modernizing using Intune but still having to maintain SCCM for legacy and other requirements
  • Implementing automation
  • Strategy for virtual desktops currently using on prem VMWare, finishing 2 application implementation projects (software to eliminate need for local admin rights and software to manage 3rd party application patching)
  • Monthly patch mitigations, etc.
