Do you love experimenting with new programming tools and technologies? Are you excited to explore how generative AI will transform how software is designed, implemented, and deployed? Do you gain satisfaction from helping other software developers by sharing your knowledge? If so, then this might be your dream job ...

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Developer Advocate (DA) to join the Developer Experience organization, focusing on generative AI. As a resident of the AWS AI Loft in San Francisco, you will engage AWS and non-AWS communities, drive our efforts in this fast-evolving field, and dig deep into topics such as prompt engineering, RAG, and agentic workflows. In this role, you will work with the community, partners like Anthropic, Cohere, Langchain, and others to explore solutions, publish content, and speak at events.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. Key job responsibilities

As an AWS Developer Advocate on Generative AI, your role is to champion innovation and inspire developers worldwide. You'll be deeply involved with cutting-edge communities of early adopters who are exploring the possibilities of Generative AI.

On any given day, you might be delivering a compelling presentation at a major developer event; hosting events at the AWS AI Loft in San Francisco; collaborating directly with a group of AI pioneers; experimenting with novel use cases and pushing the limits of what's possible on AWS; publishing an in-depth blog post, writing innovative code samples or demos, or recording a tutorial video.

You'll act as a bridge between these innovative communities and Amazon's engineers. You'll gather insights and feedback from developers on the frontlines, then translate that knowledge to influence roadmaps for our products and services. Your technical depth and community connections will ensure AWS remains the go-to environment for building and deploying generative AI applications.

Whether running coding challenges that spark creativity or hosting workshops that demystify generative AI, you'll inspire developers to think big and explore new frontiers. You'll be at the forefront of the AI revolution, creating opportunities for others to experience the transformative power of this technology.
