DevOps Engineer

A travel client based in Woodland hills is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their infrastructure and IT operations group. This individual will be supporting a server migration project moving into a new Azure data center. Several projects related coming up include remediation and identifying vulnerabilities. They will also design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources. They will utilize Ansible for configuration management, application deployment, and task automation and collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle. They will be responsible for monitoring and optimizing system performance, reliability, and security though they do not need to be security expert. This person will implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment process and document processes and configurations as they work.

Hourly pay rate range around 70-73
Conversion salary around $150,000 annually

Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of DevOps experience especially with Azure DevOps (cloud and server)
- Terraform proficiency
- Skilled in cloud computing within Azure devops
- Azure DevOps as CI/CD platform experience
- Ansible experience for automation and migration for IaC

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Security expertise or in depth knowledge of firewalls
- Networking experience and proficiency
- Azure Kubernetes expertise or proficiency
- System engineering background (being able to look at a system and understand who/what is talking to that system)
