will work onsite 3 days a week in either Atlanta, Chandler AZ, or richmond VA

* Work across technology to create the solution to align with Bank's cloud strategy

* Assist in translating business requirements into technical definitions, reference models, blueprints, and playbooks for deployment in compliance with architecture standards and policies

* Design and implement new software solutions as part of our cloud enablement strategy, as well as maintain and enhance existing software

* Write public cloud infrastructure as code automation using tools such as Ansible Automation Platform and Terraform

* Ensure that code adheres to strict standards for accessibility, security, object-oriented practices, and performance

* Write and conduct unit and integration tests

* Effectively function and communicate within a software development team consisting of developers, quality assurance, and project management members

* Actively participate in requirements, architecture reviews, and design meetings

* Promote an inclusive and healthy working environment and help to resolve organizational impediments/blockers

* Lead proactive monitoring review and implementation

* Work with Engineering, Development Support, and/or infrastructure teams to implement server and application changes, fixes, upgrades and remediation

* Provide SDLC automation support for development to our Horizon Platform (Bitbucket, Jenkins, etc.)

Required Skills & Experience

* Significant experience with writing infrastructure as code using Ansible Automation Platform and Terraform

* Experience in DevOps and GitOps models with infra-as-code, config-as-code, policy-as-code, etc.

* Hands on usage of AWS, Azure, and/or GCP platforms and services in production environments

* Experience in enterprise-scale environments, building highly available IaaS and PaaS solutions

* Experience with containers related technologies and CI/CD tools -- Jenkins, pipelines, container repos, etc.

* Experience in programming and infra-automation tools -- Ansible, Terraform, Java, python, etc.

* Experience in logging, monitoring, and observability tools

* Practical experience with following Toolsets:

o Ansible Automation Platform (AAP or Ansible Tower) administration

o Postgres installation and administration

o Ansible playbooks and python modules and plugins

o Rest API programming

o Installation and administration of Grafana/Prometheus/Splunk

o Working knowledge of Hashicorp Vault/CyberArk, and their API interfaces

* Strong knowledge and experience with Agile methodology

* Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills

* Excellent communication skills

* Minimum 5+ years of Cloud Engineer/DevOps Engineer working experience
