Description:
The Platform Engineering and DevOps team responsible for pipelining and infrastructure of Clientâs resources is growing to increase both capacity and skill depth to ensure timely delivery of cloud-based computer environments. The primary focus of this role will be launching and maintaining AWS resources and CI/CD pipelines for new projects.
Responsibility:
Additional responsibilities to include maintaining standards, contributing to continuous improvement through knowledge transfer and documentation, and security remediation as assigned.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Harness, Harness.io)
Develop and maintain Infrastructure Code, specifically Terraform modules using YAML
Execute architectural designs to deliver environments correctly and on time
Provide technical guidance and maintain documentation
Support application deployments and infrastructure change
Respond to infrastructure and pipeline support requests
Maintain work tickets and user stories (Service Now, Azure DevOps)
Collaborate across teams to design and implement improvements
Strong Understanding of best practices for AWS, EC2, EKS
Maintains Helm charts for consistence dependency management
Develops and maintains technical documentation
Performs other duties as assigned and required. Duties and responsibilities may change from time to time without notice and include but are not limited to the duties described above
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
8+ years working in Information Technology
4+ years running production systems on AWS using infrastructure-as-code
Strong experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, specifically Harness
Experience with Kubernetes, specifically EKS
Strong understanding of systems, networks and troubleshooting techniques.
Experience in managing source code using Git
Strong written and verbal communication
Detail oriented â we commit to DRY principles and strive for consistency across the entire stack
Helpful certifications:
AWS DevOps or architecture
Certified Kubernetes Administrator
Education: Bachelors Degree
Certification: Certified Kubernetes Administrator
