Insight Global is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the Application Development team for one of their Fortune 500 clients. This engineer will cross collaborate with the Cloud Architecture and AI/ML teams to design, build, and maintain the Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for the AI/ML team. The day to day for this engineer will consist of building and maintaining release pipelines, optimize the architecture of AI/ML-related solutions, focusing on stability, performance, security, cost, and simplicity. This engineer will be able to streamline all DevOps practices. You should be able to review technical operations and automate the process using the right tools and techniques.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in software engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.

2+ years' experience in DevOps Engineering (Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tool suite)

1+ years' experience with Python or similar language

1+ years' Hands-on experience in infrastructure provisioning tools like Terraform.

Understanding of modern software development practices and lifecycle

Advanced Knowledge of source control technologies like Git, GitHub.

Basic understanding of networking concepts like DNS, Subnetting, Gateways, DHCP/NAT, OSI Model, Firewall, Load Balancers, Proxy Servers, HTTP/HTTPS protocols

Hands-on experience in docker containers including but not limited to create/run containers, download/change an image, inspect active containers, docker networking, volume management, creating/using docker files, creating/using docker-compose files

Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines across cloud and hybrid environments.

Familiarity with the latest industry trends and best practices

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience working in the Microsoft Azure cloud. Azure foundational certification preferred.

Understanding of cloud networking including experience within Azure, particularly vNet and private endpoint

Experience working with Azure MLOps architectures and solutions.

Experience with Azure Policy and principle of least privilege via IAM.

Hands-on experience in container orchestration technologies, e.g. Kubernetes, including cluster/node management, creating resources with YAML, creating/managing pods, replica/Dameon sets, services, volumes.

Solid experience in using configuration management tools like Ansible, including ad-hoc commands, create/manage inventory files, create/run playbooks, variables/templating.

Hands-on experience in using monitoring and log management tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
