This DevOps Engineer will be working for the platform team, adding new capabilities and infrastructures. They will work on infrastructure as code in terraform and use azure DevOps pipelines to support the development teams new capabilities and components. There is always a cyber security aspect where they will need to focus on action items. This resource is joining a group that is one of the cores behind Eaton's digitalization journey. They are responsible for taking legacy products and making them digital products/smart products on IoT platform

Required Skills & Experience

* 5+ years of experience in the software industry with a proven track record of shipping high quality products

* Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems and their associated development platforms

* Strong capabilities with Shell scripting languages including BASH for Linux/Mac and PowerShell for Windows

* Experience in building Infrastructure as a Code (IaC) using Terraform

* Previous experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS

* Extremely knowledgeable about Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery principles from code check-in through code deployment

* Basic understanding of networking protocols and concepts (websockets, http, tcp)

* Basic understanding of relational and non-relational database systems

* Proven experience with Agile development methodologies and concepts
