Our Diesel Mechanics generally assist in the repair and diagnosis of major components or remove/replace major components of various truck and trailer equipment.

Expectations of our Diesel Technicians include hard technical experience with the following:
  • Brakes
  • Suspensions
  • Transmissions
  • Clutches
  • Reefer Repairs
  • Strong computer diagnosis
  • Hydraulics/PTO's
  • Ability to diagnose and repair heavy truck issues
  • Welding/fabrication skills
Qualifications for our Diesel Technician positions:
  • 1-3 years Experience in Detroit DD15/60 Series Late Model Freightliners or diesel tech graduate
  • Vocational/Technical or certification preferred
  • Proficiency in the use of shop tools required
  • A valid CDL is preferred
  • Basic computer skills preferred for data entry into maintenance systems
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
