Dietary Aide

South Shore Care Center is looking to hire a Part-Time Evening Dietary Aide

Hours: 4pm-8pm (28 hours per pay period)

The ideal candidate for this position has previous Dietary aide experience, enjoys working in a busy environment, and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively. If you have a passion for food prep and strong customer service, please submit an application to us today.

Responsibilities

• Preparing all beverages including nectar, honey and pudding thick beverages

• Distributing beverages to residents before mealtime

• Cleaning tables and stocking condiments, creamers, sugar, etc.

• Performing correct sanitary measures

• Washing dishes after supper meal Maintain accurate food inventories

• Rotate stock items as per established procedures

• Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift

• Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures

• Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items

• Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts

Skills:

• Able to read and follow standardized recipes

• Serve Safe Certification preferred

• Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere

• Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures
