Under the direction of the Digital Infrastructure Officer, the Project Manager is responsible for overseeing program package implementations with the goal of project completion within specified time and budget constraints. Some major functions of this role include developing project plans, communicate program goals with project team, ongoing project management and supervise and coordinate tasks between employees, contractors and vendors, and ensuring timely software procurement and renewals in support of all CV programs.

Working Conditions
The positions at GO-Serve may be eligible for telework with in-person attendance based on the operational needs of the position under Government Code Section 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California, subject to the candidate meeting telework eligibility criteria set forth in the GO-Serve Telework Policy and/or future program need.

Department Information The Governor's Office of Service and Community Engagement (GO-Serve) elevates paid service and volunteerism in the state, promotes more youth and community engagement, and advances public awareness and outreach campaigns to tackle the state's most pressing challenges. Go-Serve consists of the Office of Community Partnerships and Strategic Communications (OCPSC), California Volunteers (CV), and the Youth Empowerment Commission (YEC).

T he California Volunteers, Office of the Governor engages Californians in service, volunteering and civic action to tackle our State's most pressing challenges while mobilizing all Californians to volunteer and serve in their communities. #CaliforniansForAll was launched in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to build on the efforts of California Volunteers to establish a statewide volunteer corps to help with the state's response to emergencies and disasters. California Volunteers also administers the AmeriCorps programs in California with over 80 programs providing critical services to more than 160,000 Californians annually.

Special Requirements

• Extensive project management experience in software program package implementations
• Experience in customer service, problem solving and facilitate communications across internal and external personnel
• Experience with MS Office Suite, MS Project, Bluebeam Revu and Adobe Suite of programs
• Experience in creating project timelines and objectives
• Mission-driven, highly organized, creative, and self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while being able to work under short deadlines, and deliver in a rapidly changing, fast-paced office environment
• Knows when to act independently and when to consult for advice on decision-making
• Proficient in using the FormAssembly platform or similar form building tools
• Experience in customer support, troubleshooting, and technical assistance roles
• Understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Salesforce or CRM platforms
• Familiarity with data management
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
