We are seeking a Digital Marketing Intern based in Elgin, IL (Northwest of Chicago) to support digital marketing initiatives and campaigns as HARTING continually enhances its reputation within its target customer segments. This intern will gain experience in the activation of HARTING's go-to-market strategy to end customers through digital marketing, demand creation, and demand generation.

HARTING's Intern Development Program (Summer 2024) consists of full-time, paid, and on-site internships. Our internships are an opportunity to work on hands-on projects with your team, to work cross-functionally with other departments, and gain exposure to the technical aspects of our company.

You will have the opportunity to be exposed to the following:

• Assist with the activation, monitoring, and measurement of digital demand generation campaigns, including:
  • Curate comprehensive analysis on competitors and audience segments
  • Compile performance data and reports
  • Analyze campaign data to optimize tactics, illustrate insights, and enable decision-making
  • Apply and create targeted audience messaging
  • Develop tests and optimization plans
  • Contribute to the creation of campaign assets, including landing pages, emails, ads, social media posts, graphics, and other content
• Support the cleaning, updating, and maintaining of customer contact and lead databases
• Helps to monitor, update, and analyze activity on HARTING Americas social media accounts

Skills and experience to thrive in this role:

• Pursuing a career in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field (Communications, Advertising, Business Administration)
• Solid understanding of B2B demand generation metrics and tactics
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)
• Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to learn and grow
• Proven leadership and excellence in professional, academic, and/or extracurricular experiences
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, multitask, and work on deadline-driven projects
