Job Purpose

This individual will support the creation and implementation of AXA IM Americas' regional strategy in alignment with regional sales and marketing priorities. The role will enable greater alignment and communication within the regional and global marketing teams and across regional and global sales, client service, and fund management teams.

Key Accountabilities

This position will be part-time: 9-5:00 ET 2 days per week in AXA IM's NYC office.

Client communication

  • Liaise with Sales and Client Services teams to keep a pulse on the topics our clients and prospects are interested in to guide content strategy and subsequent distribution
  • Assist with content distribution and amplification primarily through email and social media using Oracle Eloqua and Hootsuite
  • Master email marketing and social media best practices and how to use email marketing and social media software


Content production & compliance review

  • Coordinate with our content and PR agencies to bring original content ideas from research and brainstorming through compliance approval and distribution
  • Review and edit global content to ensure US-compliance, as well as shepherd original content through the compliance process
  • Understand the US compliance landscape from a financial comms perspective
  • Learn how to use Salesforce for compliance purposes


Research

  • Conduct research around timely, relevant ESG and financial/economic topics to find white space where AXA IM can provide a unique perspective and engage prospects and clients
  • Learn more about the ESG and financial/economic landscape and taking content production from brainstorming and research through publication and amplification


Learning session

  • Learn from internal stakeholders and subject matter experts across the firm based on your interests to learn more about AXA IM as a global institution
  • These sessions could range from meeting with the head of global product marketing to the lead portfolio manager for our Global Strategic Bond Fund


Role Requirements

Education/Qualification

  • Currently pursuing or completed B.A./B.S./Masters. Contentration in marketing, communications, digital media, or finance preferred
  • Additional fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, or Mandarin is strongly preferred but not required


Experience

  • Relevant internship(s) in marketing, business, investment writing, or communications (preferably within the financial services or asset management industry)
  • Writing for digital and social platforms


Knowledge and Skill

  • Understanding of the financial services and asset management space
  • Excellent writing ability across channels (email, social, website, etc.)
  • Creative thinker actively able to come up with ideas for original content as well as adapt content from other regions for use across Americas landscape
  • Proficient in LinkedIn, Eloqua, Hootsuite, Microsoft Office; introductory knowledge of Salesforce is strongly preferred but not required
  • Strong research and analytical capabilities. Proficiency with analytics, ability to interpret data, and use it to provide evidence of campaign performance across channels

  • Ability to work effectively in a team - someone who is collaborative, flexible and adaptable, reliable with a strong "can do attitude"
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to easily build relationships with different teams (investment teams, product managers and other business partners) and to capture ideas and extract relevant and timely information


Must be based in New York City Metro Area.

The pay range for this position is ($23 - 25 ). Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual's skills, experience and location. We strive for market alignment and internal equity with our colleagues' pay.
