This remote role is not tightly linked to a physical location and provides flexibility in where, when and how you accomplish your work. Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead QA and Testing professional to join our team, responsible for developing and implementing effective testing strategies and leading the QA team to ensure the quality of software products. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience with Agile development methodologies, and a deep understanding of testing processes and strategies. Understanding of banking products, loan servicing, collections and regulations is a plus. Prefer knowledge and experience in Oracle Financial Services Lending and Leasing (OFSLL) or similar platform.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective testing strategies to ensure the quality of software products.
  • Lead and mentor a team of QA professionals, providing support and guidance to deliver high-quality testing results.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure that testing efforts are aligned with business requirements and product goals.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality of software products.
  • Lead automated testing efforts and develop test automation frameworks and processes to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Facilitate collaboration between development, QA, and product teams to identify and resolve defects in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that testing practices are in compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Maintain and manage technical documentation of testing processes and results.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the overall quality of testing practices, seeking to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
  • Expertise in Security Testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensuring that systems are secure, especially given the sensitive nature of banking data.
  • Skilled in testing APIs, which are critical in banking applications for integrating various services and third-party applications.
  • Ability to create scripts to automatically seed the database with the necessary data before each regression test run. This ensures that the environment is consistent every time the tests are executed.

Experience Requirements

Required
  • At least 5 years of experience in QA and testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Expertise in test automation processes and tools, such as Selenium, TestComplete, or similar.
  • Strong experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with software development tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Git.
  • Experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner and JMeter is a plus.

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
