Beaumont Behavioral Health (a UHS Facility)

A new, 144-bed behavioral health facility - Beaumont Behavioral Hospital provides a full continuum of inpatient services across the entire patient population, including specialty programs to serve adolescents, adults and older adults, and perform behavioral health assessments 24 hours a day. Additionally, programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance use issues will be offered to meet the unique needs of this patient population. The facility provides a robust outpatient program utilizing a combination of group, family and individual therapy.

Position Summary

The Director of Outpatient Services is responsible for the clinical oversight for all outpatient therapy services. The Director manages all activities involving outpatient referrals from initial call through completion of treatment plans, coordinating caseloads, developing and managing the outpatient staff, and marketing the program. This goal for this position is to maximize referral potentials from assigned accounts, and develop new business to achieve the goals and objectives of the business developmental systems.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

- Education: Master's Degree from an accredited university in the field of social work or counseling.

- Experience: Five (5) years' experience in a psychiatric health-care facility.

- Licensure: Current LPC or LMSW, (license issued by the State of Michigan).

- Additional Requirements: A strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation agencies' regulations, and patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws regulating mental health care facilities. BLS and

CPI training certification must be completed before providing direct care services.
