Responsibilities

The Director of Risk Management is responsible for ensuring that regulatory and corporate standards of practice and are in compliance as required. Provides a variety of educational activities related directly and indirectly to staff.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Social Work, or related field required. Master's Degree in healthcare related field (preferred); CPHQ or other certification in Quality (preferred)

Experience : Demonstrated leadership in Performance Improvement (preferred)

Three years of behavioral health or acute care experience (preferred)

Experience in healthcare quality/performance/process improvement (preferred)

Additional Requirements: Previous experience in preparing and presenting professional presentations to executive leadership teams. Accreditation activities and survey preparation. Provider performance improvement activities. Experience with risk management, credentialing, grievances, Peer Review or OPPE process. Healthcare related performance improvement or project management experience. Proven ability in areas of leadership/supervision, knowledge of regulatory aspects of healthcare, QAPI principles, education and outcomes. A thorough knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA regulations and all other state and federal regulatory standards desirable.
