Responsibilities
Direct resource utilization management program and credentialing/quality improvement programs for medical staff.
- Direct and administer the credentialing and quality improvement programs for the medical staff.
- Develop and administer resource utilization management program functions and direct the evaluation of existing clinical efficiency programs, cost containment programs and clinical pathways.
- Oversee Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs.
- Direct the care management programs.
- Coordinate initiatives across facilities to ensure standardization and sharing of best practices.
- Identify and coordinate resolution of problems to improve physician utilization and patient satisfaction.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience
required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor'
degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those year
being in leadership/management.
- Bachelor's degree required; Masters degree preferred
