Job Summary:

This position supports the health-related colleges and schools, including working directly with assigned Deans and Clinical Faculty. The major responsibilities of the position are focused on growth initiatives, meeting strategic objectives and assisting in the management of operations.

Major Responsibilities / Duties / Critical Tasks:

Growth Initiatives
• Develops feasibility assessments, program plans and proforma for new programs within portfolio.

Strategic Objectives
• Develops and acts upon plans necessary to support and accomplish the institution's strategic plan.
• Works with Deans and the Office of Business Affairs to track progress toward the institution's strategic plan, identifying and addressing areas that need attention.
• Provides regular updates and reports to Deans and stakeholders regarding progress made on strategic plan, including recommendations for actions needed.

Operations
• Proactively identifies and executes opportunities for operational efficiencies within portfolio.
• Regularly monitors contracts within portfolio to ensure deliverables are being achieved, revenue is being earned, and risk of non-compliance is mitigated.
• Works with other departments to ensure operations and business matters within the portfolio are functioning effectively and efficiently.
• Manages complex business or operational projects on behalf of a Dean or the Office of Business Affairs, as assigned.
• Produces a Monthly Operating Report for identifying operating units that summarizes key operational results for the period, key challenges, and actionable plans to resolve challenges.
• Develops business plans and assists with projects, as assigned, with the broader health operations division.
• Responsible for other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education / Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required. Master's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field is preferred.
• Five (5) years of experience in higher education management and/or clinical management required.
• Demonstrated success in working with academic leaders, physicians, and faculty.
• Demonstrated ability in analyzing and interpreting informational and basic statistical data.
• A combination of experience and education may be considered.
