As a Director of Plant Operations you will:

  • Responsible for ensuring the physical plant meets all The Joint Commission, CMS, NFPA and state regulations to ensure the safety of patients, staff and visitors.
  • Performs all scheduled inspections, testing, and drills, as required by state, federal government, The Joint Commission and NFPA.

  • Documents these and reports outcomes to Safety Committee in a timely manner.

  • Director ensures the maintenance of a safe, functional, and clean physical environment for patients, employees and guests.

  • Responsible for overseeing standards and procedures of food preparation, menu development, service, equipment, sanitation, infection control, and employee safety.

  • Ensures quality of menu, food, and service.

  • Prepares, orders, and ensures accurate and sufficient inventory. Keeps facility compliant with all health department, TJC, state, and federal regulations.



Qualifications

As a Director of Plant Operations you will have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Accounting, Health Administration, Public Administration, Basic Science or a related field preferred.

  • CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days.

  • May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.

  • Three years of related administrative, managerial and/or supervisory experience in plant operations in a hospital setting.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
