We are seeking a dynamic Director of Logistics to manage logistics operations spanning various sales channels. Responsibilities include strategic planning, and ongoing enhancement of logistics functions to guarantee smooth operations, cost-effectiveness, and outstanding customer service within diverse business frameworks.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Logistics Planning:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies for E-commerce, B2B, B2C, and Brick-and-Mortar (BM) channels.
  • Conduct market analysis and forecast logistical requirements to support growth and scalability.

Budget Management:
  • Create and manage the logistics budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Operations Oversight:
  • Oversee warehousing, inventory management, and distribution activities across multiple channels.
  • Ensure efficient and timely fulfillment of orders, managing the entire order-to-delivery process.
  • Implement best practices in inventory control to minimize costs and maximize availability.

Channel-Specific Focus:

E-commerce:

Optimize last-mile delivery, returns management, and packaging solutions to enhance customer experience.

B2B:

Ensure timely and accurate delivery of bulk orders, manage freight logistics, and maintain strong supplier relationships.

B2C:

Focus on customer-centric delivery solutions, manage seasonal demand fluctuations, and ensure high service levels.

Brick-and-Mortar:

Coordinate with logistics for physical stores, including replenishment, stock transfers, and in-store inventory management.

Technology Integration:
  • Implement and manage advanced logistics software systems to streamline operations across all channels.
  • Ensure seamless integration of e-commerce platforms, ERP, and warehouse management systems (WMS).

Stakeholder Relationships:
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with third-party logistics providers, carriers, and suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and service-level agreements, ensuring cost-effectiveness and high service standards.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or related field
  • 8+ years of logistics experience, 5+ years of leadership experience, multi-channel retail operations experience preferred
  • Proficiency with NetSuite
  • Experience with Shopify and Manhattan
  • Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma- Green Belt or higher
  • Familiar with international logistics and global supply chain managements
