The Performance Marketing Director will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing high-impact performance marketing strategies across all advanced paid media channels. This role requires a deep understanding of the full digital ecosystem, from search and social to programmatic and beyond, with a focus on driving measurable results and maximizing ROI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale campaigns, ample experience with widely used Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs), and expertise in media performance analytics.

Responsibilities
  • Campaign Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive performance marketing strategies for enterprise-scale brand campaigns across multiple advanced paid media channels, including search, social, programmatic, and affiliate.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously analyze and optimize campaign performance to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as ROI, CPA, CPC, and ROAS. Utilize data-driven insights to drive strategic adjustments and improvements.
  • Cross-Channel Management: Oversee and coordinate marketing efforts across various digital channels to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach. Manage and optimize budgets across channels to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • DSP Management: Demonstrate ample experience with widely used DSPs (e.g., The Trade Desk, MediaMath, AppNexus) to manage and optimize programmatic advertising campaigns effectively.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Use advanced media performance analytics tools and techniques to track, measure, and report on campaign performance. Prepare detailed performance reports and insights for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including creative, content, and product, to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with brand objectives. Provide expert guidance and recommendations to optimize campaign effectiveness.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in performance marketing. Apply this knowledge to innovate and enhance campaign strategies.
  • Vendor & Partner Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and media partners to ensure successful campaign execution and optimization.

Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in performance marketing with a proven track record of running and optimizing enterprise-scale brand campaigns across a variety of advanced paid media channels.
  • DSP Expertise: Extensive experience with widely used Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs), such as The Trade Desk, MediaMath, and AppNexus.
  • Analytics Proficiency: Strong background in media performance analytics, including the use of tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, and other performance measurement platforms.
  • Skills: Expertise in digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.), programmatic advertising, search engine marketing (SEM), and affiliate marketing. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (Google Analytics, Tableau, etc.).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint) are a plus.
  • Competencies: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Attributes: Results-driven with a strong focus on ROI and performance metrics. Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
