Minimum qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Biotech, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in Technical Product Management.
  • Experience scaling products from early-stage concepts to production features/services.
  • Experience with regulatory requirements and guidelines governing software development and delivery into healthcare and life sciences organizations.
  • Experience operating and managing projects across a spectrum of engineers from Research Scientists to Prototypers to Full-Stack Engineers.
  • Experience developing and implementing solutions in new and undefined technology areas, leading projects from initial concept to launch, creating strategy, and driving adoption of new technologies.


Preferred qualifications:

  • PhD in Engineering or Biotech.
  • MBA or experience with startups.
  • Experience operating in a research environment facing ambiguous, open-ended challenges.
  • Domain and technical expertise in applied machine learning and artificial intelligence.
  • Understanding of the complex relationship between the organization and its environment, and ability to identify connections, adopt different perspectives, and respond effectively to changing circumstances.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $253,000-$363,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a high-performing product team. Mentor and develop product managers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Define and articulate a compelling product vision that aligns with our mission to catalyze the adoption of human-centered AI in health and life sciences. Develop and implement a strategic roadmap that prioritizes investments across multiple product initiatives.
  • Work closely with engineering, research, clinical teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure successful research and development.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure the impact of AI products on enhancing quality of care, increasing accessibility and affordability of healthcare, and capturing value across Google's products and services.
  • Stay abreast of the trends in applied AI technologies and the healthcare and life science industries. Identify new research and development opportunities across the competitive landscape.
