As the Director of Product Management, Scheduling and Capacity Management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of resource allocation and utilization across Google's infrastructure. By unifying scheduling roadmaps and driving innovation in scheduling approaches, you will enable greater efficiency, fungibility, and performance of Google's computational resources.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of product managers to develop and execute product strategies that address the complex challenges of scheduling diverse workloads across Google's infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud. You will envision and implement innovative solutions that significantly impact the efficiency and performance of Google's infrastructure. You will collaborate with stakeholders across different teams and disciplines. By leading the Scheduling and Capacity product team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on how Google manages its vast computational resources.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $253,000-$363,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Consolidate scheduling roadmaps across ML and non-ML infrastructure under a unified product vision.
  • Develop and execute product strategies to enhance resource fungibility and efficiency across Google's infrastructure.
  • Advocate new approaches to scheduling and abstraction that significantly improve resource utilization and performance.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, research, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and adoption of scheduling solutions.
  • Monitor product performance metrics, gather user feedback, and iterate on features to continuously enhance user experience and drive value.
