Job Description Summary
The Director of Affiliations Operations reports directly to the CEO of the Regional Health Network and the Chief Affiliations Officer of MUSC Health. This role is entrusted with the establishment and maintenance of partnerships with affiliate healthcare institutions. The Director also serves as the liaison for affiliate leadership teams, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Key responsibilities include:
• Strengthen and sustain partnerships with affiliate healthcare institutions.
• Organize and lead Joint Operating Committee (JOC) meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Oversee JOC strategic initiatives, ensuring timely and successful execution.
• Work closely with ICCE and department leaders to develop strategies, draft proposals, and execute new contracts.
• Plan and coordinate the annual affiliate leadership conference, catering to over 200 attendees.
• Develop, manage, and oversee the affiliations department’s budgets and reports. Ensure financial efficiency, accountability, and alignment with organizational goals.
Additional responsibilities include:
• Provide project management support for various health system leadership initiatives, including operational improvement projects, affiliations, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
• Contribute to the development of strategic plans and initiatives to enhance the organization’s operational effectiveness.
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize departmental and organizational performance.
This role demands a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills, capable of driving the success of the affiliations operations and contributing to the overall mission of MUSC Health. The Director must exhibit a high degree of ownership and accountability, ensuring the department operates within budgetary constraints while achieving its strategic objectives.

Additional Job Description
Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Work Experience: 9 years progressive work experience and 4 years management experience
