Distribution Driver

Summary

Under the general supervision of the warehouse manager, the driver/warehouse worker pulls orders and delivers them to schools. Also assists in receiving supply shipments, and in stocking warehouse.

Description

Classified position is announced to all applicants. Applications must be submitted no later than Wednesday, August 28, 2024.

5.9 hours per day/257 days per year/Grade 9 $21.39 per hour (2024 - 2025 Support Salary Table)

This shift begins at 6 a.m.

GENERAL FUNCTION: Under the general supervision of the warehouse manager, the driver/warehouse worker pulls orders and delivers them to schools. Also assists in receiving supply shipments, and in stocking warehouse.

Educational Requirements:

1. High school graduation or equivalent education and/or experience.

Knowledge & Ability:

1. Ability to operate bobtail truck.

2. Ability to operate forklift.

Job-Related Experience:

1. None required.

Licenses/Certification:

1. Commercial Driver's License (Class B) preferred, but will be required within 20 days after hire.
